Grammy 2017: Adele e Beyoncé disputam principais categorias; Gil e Caetano também concorrem

Duas das mais importantes cantoras do Pop atual, Adele e Beyoncé vão duelar nas principais categorias do 59ª Grammy Awards, que acontece em 12 de fevereiro de 2017, em Los Angeles. Elas concorrem ao prêmio de melhor álbum do ano, gravação do ano e canção do ano.

Beyoncé sai na frente com 9 indicações e se torna a cantora mais indicada da história da premiação. Já foi indicada 62 vezes na história do Grammy e venceu 20 vezes. "Lemonade", o mais novo disco, é o álbum surpresa do ano, lançado em abril nos moldes do Visual Album com direito a média-metragem, costurado pela crítica social e feminismo.

Adele é a que mais vende disco e, em tempos de mídia digital, alcançou a incrível marca de 30 milhões de cópias vendidas de seu terceiro álbum, "25".  Adele soma cinco indicações.

O Brasil volta a ser representado entre os indicados na categoria melhor álbum de World Music. Caetano Veloso e Gilberto Gil disputam o prêmio com o  registro ao vivo da turnê "Dois Amigos, Um Século de Música".
